The past two weeks in Greece were an unbelievable experience. Not only did we visit different sites in Greece via land and cruise ship. We traveled to Mykonos, Turkey, Patmos, Rhodes and Lindos, Heraklion, Knossos, and Santorini. Although I never been on a cruise before this was an unforgettable experience.During the second half of the trip, my favorite place was Lindos Acropolis. The village of Lindos is one of the most ancient cities of Rhodes and the eastern Aegean. The ruins of the ancient citadel on a steep cliff with amazing sea views. The walk up was not an easy one with a mix of stairs and walkways with no railing. Which was scary because there is that possibility of falling down within a blink of an eye. There still was a long staircase that needed to be taken to reach the very top. The Lindos had an amazingly breathtaking view as it is known for its clifftop acropolis. The Temple of Athena Lindia sits above an earlier temple which was my favorite which the view of the sea and the town’s whitewashed buildings. As the trip is over, I’ll hold on to the memories and the numerous photos I took as I will share them with my family and friends. Thank you for planning this May Term and to those that helped. These past two weeks were definitely jam back with things to do but I would have wanted to travel Greece any other way. Once again thank you once again for everything.
